Quick answer: how much does Mounjaro cost in the UK?
At Live Well Weight Loss, one Mounjaro pen (four weekly doses) costs £144 for the 2.5mg starting dose and £289 for 15mg, plus £3.95 tracked delivery per order. There is no separate consultation fee.
Among the 11 large UK providers in the table below, standard prices run from £148 to £179.99 for 2.5mg, and from £298 to £339 for 15mg.
Across the wider UK market, published prices at registered pharmacies run from around £99 to around £230 for the 2.5mg pen, and from around £229 to around £360 for 15mg. The lowest prices are often first-order offers, so check what the second and third pens will cost too.

How to read this table. These are standard single-pen prices published by each provider, checked on 6 October 2026. Delivery is not included and varies by provider, typically from free to around £6. Several providers, including some listed here, run new-patient offers that lower the price of a first order. Prices change often, so confirm the total at checkout before you order.
What changed in October 2026. Zava lowered its standard prices at every strength, with 2.5mg moving from £169.99 to £148.99. Standard prices at the other providers listed, and at Live Well, are unchanged since our September check. The table now covers large national providers only.
Mounjaro price by dose, 2.5mg to 15mg
Treatment starts at 2.5mg and usually moves up one strength every four weeks if your prescriber agrees. The first pen is the cheapest one you will buy, so compare the dose you are likely to stay on.

The recommended maintenance doses are 5mg, 10mg and 15mg. The 7.5mg and 12.5mg pens are steps between them. Not everyone needs the highest dose, and your prescriber decides each step based on how you are responding and how well you tolerate the medicine.
Why the starting price is the wrong number to compare
As a pharmacy, the most common mistake we see is choosing a provider on the 2.5mg price. You buy that pen once. Across the 12 providers above, the gap between the lowest and highest standard price is £35.99 at 2.5mg and £50 at both 10mg and 15mg, and you may pay that higher gap every four weeks for many months.
The order changes by dose as well. MedExpress and LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor are the joint highest of this group at 2.5mg but sit mid-table at 15mg. Compare the price of the dose you expect to stay on.
What is included in the price?
A pen price on its own does not tell you what you will pay. Before you compare two providers, add up the same five things for each.

What does Mounjaro cost over 12 months?
One pen lasts four weeks, so a full year is 13 pens. The table below uses Live Well prices and assumes you move up one strength every four weeks until you reach one of the three recommended maintenance doses, then stay there.

Why do Mounjaro prices vary between pharmacies?
Every UK pharmacy supplies the same Mounjaro KwikPen, made by Eli Lilly. The differences in price come from how each provider runs its service.
- The 2025 price rise. Eli Lilly raised the UK list price of Mounjaro on 1 September 2025. Pharmacies passed that on to different degrees, which widened the gap between providers.
- First-order offers. Many low headline prices apply to new patients only. The standard price applies from the second order.
- What is bundled in. Coaching, apps and subscription programmes raise the monthly price. A pharmacy-led service with no programme attached usually costs less.
- Delivery and extras. Delivery, needles and review fees are sometimes charged separately.
- Dose pricing. Some providers are competitive at 2.5mg and expensive at 10mg and above, so the order of the table changes by dose.

Mounjaro or Wegovy: how do the costs compare?
Since the September 2025 price rise, Wegovy (semaglutide) has cost less per pen than Mounjaro at most UK pharmacies, and the gap is widest at the higher strengths. The two medicines work differently and are not interchangeable on price alone. Which one is suitable for you, and whether switching makes sense, is a decision for your prescriber.
If cost is the reason you are thinking about stopping or changing treatment, tell your prescriber before you run out. Staying on a lower dose that is working, or moving to a different medicine, are both options to discuss.
How to check a Mounjaro provider is legitimate
A low price is not a warning sign on its own. These are the things worth checking, whatever the price.
- The pharmacy appears on the GPhC register, and its registration number is shown on the website.
- You are asked for your height, weight, medical history and current medicines before anything is supplied.
- A named UK prescriber or superintendent pharmacist is responsible for the service.
- The medicine is branded Mounjaro in its original Eli Lilly packaging. There is no licensed generic or compounded tirzepatide in the UK.
- You can reach a pharmacist if you have side effects or questions about your dose.

Is Live Well Weight Loss the cheapest for Mounjaro?

Does the Live Well price include the consultation?

Why did the price of Mounjaro go up?
Eli Lilly, the manufacturer, raised the UK list price on 1 September 2025. Private providers pay more for each pen as a result, and prices to patients rose across the market. NHS prescription charges were not affected.
Why do higher doses cost more?
The manufacturer charges pharmacies more for the higher strengths, so the price to patients rises with the dose.
Can I buy Mounjaro without a prescription?
No. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. It can only be supplied after a prescriber has assessed whether it is suitable for you.
Can I switch provider to save money?
Yes. A new provider will ask for evidence of your current dose and when you last injected, and will carry out its own clinical assessment before supplying. Do not restart at a high dose after a gap in treatment without speaking to a prescriber.
